Abbie Almasco. Frustrated Dancer and a wannabe Singer. Would love to channel Aggy Deyn's hotness, and own Vanessa Hudgens' wardrobe. Oh and, its been 5 years, and I'm still falling in this Rabbithole. Help?

One of the coolest things about sitting down with executive people in a meeting is the benefits (a.k.a. freebies) you get from it, no matter how ‘cheap’ the cost of the item is or whatever, most of the time I appreciate the thought, and we’re just employees, not the boss.
Today, we met with the GM of this major toy company to discuss about the playground we’re updating in the village, and guess what he gave us?
A Shining Star Doll from Russ!
Wish…Share…Shine! Next time you wish upon a star…let it be your very own shining star! RUSS has partnered with the International Star Registry in a revolutionary new Shining Stars program. The program includes a plush Shining Stars Friend, crafted using only the finest of materials and identifiable by the crystal-like star icon and embroidered Shining Stars logo on the paw pad…and the chance to literally become a star by having your name officially recorded with a star in the sky. You can choose from a wide variety of Shining Stars Friends to buy for yourself or to give to your own shining star. Once purchased, you can log on the the Shining Stars website and using the secret code found inside the laminated tamper resistant hangtag, you can register and name your star with the International Star Registry. The name will be offically recorded in book form with the United States Copyright office and the website will show an image and the coordinates of your star. This can then be printed on a certificate that verifies it’s exact location in the cosmos.

Yes, I am totally reminded of A Walk to Remember! Now I’m naming the star after a special person, someone who loves Stargazing. Like me. :-)
I’ll take a photo of it at home. Pure awesomeness! And I’m getting another one after they officially launch the Shining Stars Collection in Jeddah (cos its not out in Jeddah’s market yet!), which is this one!!! Wee!
P.S. Awesome that its also for a good cause, cos the points go to charity. Talk about something sent “from heaven” ;-)
